As Bobby Z states,”  There have been and continue to be a number of ZZ Tributes out there. Some of them are really good,  but ELIMINATOR will gladly put our years of practice and our hard work and talent up against ANY of them!  We feel that we embody not only the music, the look and the overall vibe of that Little Ol’ Band From Texas, but also capture some of the tongue in cheek humor and attitude that Billy and his cohorts seem to have.

As Ron “Dustylicks” Schneider, bass player and lead vocalist once stated in an interview by showcase magazine, when asked, “Why a ZZ TOP tribute”? Ron replied… “Why should Elvis impersonators make all the money”? Mr. Licks is typical of the tongue an cheek humor both ZZ TOP and the boyzz of ELIMINATOR posses. A veteran of the regional music scene for more than 20 years, Ron fits the boots of the Dusty Hill part to a Texas T! His years as a long haul driver, going to and from Texas, have etched a Lone Star twang into his vocals that fits the sound well.

                               Rounding out the rhythm section is Jerry”The Plumber”  Matula.  He bears an eerie resemblance to Frank Beard of ZZ Top, and is a top notch drummer. Jerry has a knack of “findin’ the groove and makin’ it move”. Powerfull when needed, and all the time tasteful, he along with Dustylicks form the perfect one-two rock-and-roll power punch.

The guitar chores are left in the beefy hands of Bobby Z. A Long time ZZ TOP fan, Bobby Z has the tone, taste and Tenacity to complete the ZZ equation.

ELIMINATOR has been in demand by organizations such as A.B.A.T.E. , D.A.R.E. , LITTLE CITY FOUNDATION, numerous motorcycle clubs, and has been seen and heard by millions on TV features from “WILD CHICAGO” to THE JERRY SPRINGERSHOW”
